Looking back at the 2019 NEW YORK STATE TOUR WITH THE YOU ARE HERE MAP

The 2019 Sit, Stand, Sing Tour with the You Are Here map was an interactive tour with groups featured on the map fighting the NAPL pipeline in Western, NY/near Seneca Nation, frack waste in the Southern Tier, DeRuyter pipeline in Oneonta, Cricket Valley fracked gas power plant in Dutchess Co/ near Schaghticoke Nation, and Williams NESE pipeline New York City/Ramapough Lunaape Nation. We taught each other about the nuances of each struggle, and shared skills like direct action, arts, intervening in rate cases, strategy and power-mapping.
